Get out of your comfort zone
22/1/23
Happy Sunday everyone!
I know that I constantly say that if you want to succeed or get better than others in something, you need to spend more time on it. But burnouts are progress killers. It’s always better to slow down your pace rather than hit the wall full speed.
Weekends are great and you can use them to get things done while others don’t. But sometimes it’s better to slow down and relax. Sometimes it’s better to spend your time with family, hang out with your friends, take a trip or go fishing. It's much better to take breaks than to go all in every day. So, take a step back and enjoy life.
I hope you are touching grass this Sunday, and that you enjoy this reading!

Grow your mindset: Get out of your comfort zone
Getting out of my comfort zone was life-changing for me. I used to spend hours every day playing video games, watching Netflix and scrolling on TikTok. All that changed when I realized that in order to accomplish something bigger I had to get out of my comfort zone. Ordinary habits lead you to ordinary results.
Most of the time you either procrastinate or you’re afraid of failure. I used to do both.
Procrastination is a damaging habit for you and your close circle. It’s when you know that if you read a book instead of watching that tv show it’d be better for you, but you don’t. Or when you have an exam in five days and instead of studying you just scroll down on amazon looking for stuff you don’t even need.
What happens is that the dopamine these tasks give you is a lot more than the dopamine you get by studying or reading a book, so now tasks like these feel “boring“.
Next time you feel lazy, ask yourself: “What would I look like 10 years from now if I was reading books, running my own business, or learning that skill I always wanted to instead of scrolling on Instagram?“.
“Well, you know, but what if I fail?“
“I’m not smarter than everyone else, I won’t make it“
Wrong. Don’t ever think like that. If you don’t try you’ll never know. At the end of the day, what’s the worst thing that can happen? Fail? So what? Failure is your friend, not your enemy. Anyone will tell you that failure taught them the most important lessons in life. Get out there and start working on your ideas.
Look at the successful people in our world, they aren’t smarter than you, they just did it. It takes many failures to learn but only one success to change your life. And as I said earlier, ordinary habits will lead you to ordinary results, but that’s a shame, cause you are an extraordinary person.

Twitter Growth: How to start building your brand
I see a lot of great content creators with bright ideas and opinions, struggling to get more attention on their craft. In fact, many “small“ creators with 200-600 followers are asking me for tips on how you can get things started building your brand and I thought to share it with all of you, early supporters of my newsletter. So here’s a strategy that helped me get started and exit this zone.
I know that is really hard to get eyes on your content when you are starting from zero. So you need to find a way around it.
Replies
Replies are the single most important thing when you want to generate engagement. When you have zero followers, no one is going to see your tweets but can use other people’s followers to generate some traffic.
There are two kinds of replies:
Replying under big accounts
Replying to make connections with others
Starting with the first one, you can turn notifications on for some big accounts with a lot of followers and engagement and make sure you reply as soon as possible, with something others will find funny or interesting. This way you’ll show up first in the comments and you increase your chances of people seeing your comment. Most people will click on your profile if they liked your comment.
About the second type, you can reply to support others. Find some fellow creators and engage with their tweets. At first, they might not follow you, but just cause of the support and love you show them, they will eventually do.
DMs
Direct messages are another growth hack. Reach out to people you like their content and let them know. Don’t try to be extremely polite and skip asking how things are, most of them hate it. Be direct and to the point, they will appreciate it.
Join groups
Try to get in groups with other people doing the same with you. You can do everything alone, you need the support of an army. Joining groups will get you connections with people and that’s crucial for your growth.
Use spaces
Last but not least, speak on spaces. I know it’s not easy but it will really help you. As a smaller account, if you try your luck with bigger spaces, they probably won’t let you speak. But you can always try getting the speaking role in spaces with 10-20 people tuned in. It’s a great way to show your emotions and thoughts and let people judge you by who you really are, not your followers.
These are the three things that helped me build my brand in the beginning and I hope they can help you too. If again you need any help or additional advice, don’t mind asking me. My DMs are always open.
NFT News Report
$BLUR is launching Feb 14
Earlier this week, blur.io announced the release of their coin ($BLUR).
Blur is an NFT marketplace backed by many big names in the space such as Cozomo Medici, Bharat Krymo, Zeneca, OSD, Deeze, and Paradigm.
It has really changed the game and nowadays you find better deals than OpenSea as they’ve lowered the royalties to as low as 0.5%.
With 2 successful airdrops during the previous months, we are currently in the third one. You earn points by making offers on different NFT collections and based on your points you’ll receive your airdrop rewards. It lasts until $BLUR launches so if you have some time to start making offers in order to increase your reward.
DigiDaigaku, the biggest free NFT mint ever, mints in 4 weeks
DigiDaigaku, the project of Gabriel Leydon and arguably the biggest free mint, goes live in 4 weeks.
Based on the data they’ve published so far, it’s going to be a free mint during the Super Bowl, an event that has over 50M viewers every year. In order to mint, you’ll have to watch the Super Bowl and wait for the Digi commercial. As soon as it flashed, you need to scan the QR code and mint it. Digi Genesis, Heroes and Super Villains (previous collections of the project) will also participate in the event, the way it will work is unknown at the moment.
It’s definitely an interesting mint mechanism that may cause some hype over NFTs, and it definitely helps with getting more eyes on NFTs and mass adoption.
